I edit everything that goes out under the CompareAIGF name, and I still test apps myself every week. My own beat is roleplay: dominant and submissive dynamics, long-running scenes, and whether a character keeps its personality on day ten the way it did in the first five messages.
Before CompareAIGF I spent years editing consumer-tech reviews, which is where I picked up the habit of writing down exactly what I did, what it cost, and what broke. That habit is the backbone of our methodology: every claim in a review should be something a reader could reproduce with the same app and the same prompt.
